Ev Buhr, she/her

Colloquially known as the “face of the church” at First Mennonite, I bring a varied work experience to the office. My formal training is in Early Childhood Development and Interior Design Technology with a dabbling in Commerce studies. I’ve worked in daycares, greenhouses and florists shops, and also for a Mechanical Engineering firm. My interest in all people and friendly attitude serve me well in keeping on top of everything going on at First!

My volunteer work at the church includes playing piano for the adult choir and for Sunday mornings, organizing the youth program, serving on the Retreat Committee, and helping lead our FMC Women group.

Special hobbies and interests include: swimming, reading, making cards, knitting, and pretty much anything crafty. If you ask me to bring a dish to an event I will usually sign up for dessert and it will most likely be chocolate!
