Southview Child Care Educators

• SCC has well-qualified and experienced staff members working with the children.
• Primary staff have the highest qualifications as set out by the Government of Alberta, with diplomas or degrees in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. They have their Child Development Supervisor (Level 3) Certificate.
• Support staff have a minimum Child Development Assistant (Level 1) or Child Development Worker (Level 2) Certificate.
• All staff have current First Aid in Childcare Certificates.
• All staff have current Intervention Checks (including Vulnerable Sector) and Child Welfare Checks
• We maintain a high staff:child ratio, exceeding Government standards wherever possible.
